Sad to see this place gone. This was home for me from 1993 to 1997 I first came to live here at 13 and lived here till I was 17 miss this place. They raised me…So many memories gone
It’s interesting to see the aerial view on google of the American Legion Children’s home. It looks like All four of the homes that housed children are torn down. I lived there for exactly 1 year in 2004. 20 years ago. I was 11 years old. What happened?!
Marland’s Place is a huge asset to our community and surrounding communities offering excellent support to foster families and the kids placed in our homes. We could not do this without them!
