Just an absolutely terrible experience. I was looking for a new primary care doctor & easily made an appointment. When I arrived, the front desk office staff was too busy conversing with themselves to notice me. After getting their attention & filling out the paperwork, I was brought back promptly, but to answer all the questions on the forms I filled out again. She was a great doctor when she did see me but i saw mostly residents 99% of the time and i just got tired of having to explain myself to different people every time i came in for a visit. I needed a doctor that was going to be my doctor not a student that i would probably never see after that one time.
I live in the neighborhood, and felt she was helpful and accomodating. I needed to get a physical quickly for work and be up to date on all my shots for an oversees trip. She fit me in and answered all my questions!
Dr. Kushner barely spoke to me at all, I saw mostly residents. She was fine with my pelvic exam, but she seemed to want to sell me on Gardasil. She would not acknowlege my concerns about GERD, despite the fact that I clearly stated on my history that I had an ulcer at age 7. Her entire staff seemed to think young women in their early twenties should have no medical concerns other than their reproductive health, even when exhibiting symptoms of other diseases.health risks such as frequent heart burn and esophogial nausea.
