Love this shop! I had just bought my car and had less than 50,000 miles on the suv. The power steering pump went out but instead of charging me the cost for their shop to repair the part, they told me that my car should still be under warranty for that particular part. I was told to call Michael's in Bellevue and they goodwilled the work. It cost me $100, that's it. I never would have thought that it would be covered under warranty. All I have ever wanted in a repair shop I have over 180K on my car and Mark's is responsible for the great shape it is still in. Very accommodating and fair pricing would make me think "why would I ever want to look elsewhere for auto maintenance'. I would come to them if I lived anywhere on the Eastside because of the trust I have in their service. They have supported me in my car care for over 10 years. The best in my opinion and easy to like. Not a lot of frills, just good honest car care.
MY NEW AUTO SHOP!!! I was so tired of the run around and the expense of taking my car to the dealership, but upon speaking with a sales guy at the dealership (I won't say which one :-), I promised), he actually told me to see Mark because I could get the same quality workmanship, original parts, for about half the price he was quoting me. Look for another auto shop I took my car in to have my brakes replaced. The managager quote me a price of $500 without even looking. He also asked me to leave my car so he could perform the work and advised that the cost could possibly increase $100 - $200 if they couldn't machine some parts instead of brand new ones. Of course I took my vehicle to Muffler King and got my breaks repaired and certain part repaired by there machine for $200 total, I saved $500 walking away from Marks Japanese auto and haven't had a problem sin... read more
CON ARTISTS I took my car in for oil change,spark plugs & fuel filter. Of course the tech had a list of repairs needed. One was new wiper blades. When I told Mark I just put new ones on 3 months ago, he tried to sell me "the best" that he had, which I have on my car. Then he said that his tech reccommeded this & his (Mark) theory is if I can see, then it's OK. Next was my battery needed service for $25.
