I visited the ER because my catheter was not fully draining or allowing my bladder to empty at home a few days after having bladder surgery. My bladder was overfilled and distended and I was in extreme pain. Schreiber was the attending doctor in the ER during my visit. He looked at my bladder on an ultrasound that he did himself and said it was empty, yet within 15 minutes after the ultrasound a nurse had drained 500cc of urine off of my bladder.
