In the years M of C has been in Corvallis, I've only been by there a tiny handful of times because I'm always disappointed with cost and overwhelmed with the mountains of candy and cookies, etc. Really, the prices are just so much higher than anywhere else. I was just in there with hopes of finding a natural gelatin alternative to Jello...nope. But I did see a wonderful Italian tomato paste I wanted and it was on sale! But it was 2 for $5 while at the local co-op it was 2 for $3. Talenti Gelato was also sale priced, and at l... read more
Cashier "Kathy" at Delta Oaks confronted me today at the checkout because she had said 'hello' to me while I was shopping and I didn't respond!! She rudely asked me if I was hard of hearing! WTH kind of customer service is this? I told her I was there to shop not make small talk with her. She thinks she is a queen and I should bow down to her. So rude. This should NOT be tolerated. I am also over 60 and what a horrible way to talk to a senior. Someone needs to talk to HER about her attitude.
Love the bakery so much! A clean and well organized store with great food and service.
An absolute pinnacle of grocery stores. Visited the Bend, OR location and pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this store looked, even in the midst of a pandemic. Staff was attentive and friendly and the product selection was wide with both traditional and natural/organic choices. Additionally the store was exceptionally clean as was the employees, you can tell everyone takes pride in what they do and how they present themselves and the store. My only problem was the checkout time, seemed to take an egregious amount of time... read more
Thank you for sanitizing the carts and clearly labeling which one are sanitized and which ones are dirty. Thank you for providing gloves, a hand wash station and sanitizer. Thank you for changing the card readers so you don’t have to always sign and touch the stylus. But what really made me happy is the glass you put up to keep your amazing staff safe when cashiering. I have always loved your store on Coburg Rd Willakenzie and I love you even more. A million thanks! ❤️
Shout out to Market of Choice (Corvallis, OR)! They recently installed plexiglass barriers between customers and cashiers. My cashier wore gloves and cleaned off the belt and scale between customers—and sanitized the pen used to sign for credit cards. If you have to buy groceries during a pandemic, buy ‘em there 😏
Market of Choice (we lovingly call it MOC) has such exceptional employees and selection it is our favorite shopping spot. I was delighted yesterday to see my best meat dept guys preparing what everyone wants and the cheese and wine and produce and main aisles stocked to their best abilities. Everyone is doing their best, especially now; the cashiers are amazing, the store is clean. THANK YOU. A thousand thank you’s for being there, every day, for all of us.
The employment survey is insane with the recycled questions and wording about views/opinions on illegal drug use and trust issues. I was amazed there was room for any other important questions. Is this why it is so hard to actually land a job it this company? Was the trust broken so badly that now you assume EVERY SINGLE APPLICANT is a druggie and thief? Oh man, this was one of the worst application surveys I have completed ever. Wishi ng everyone luck during this covid19 crisis!
