Forced to revert back to Wexford Giant Eagle pharmacy from CVS because UPMC Health dropped CVS. I left this pharmacy years ago because they were slow and incompetent. Takes forever to fill prescriptions, they are out of common meds frequently and never, ever call to let you know. Whoever runs this place should be unemployed
I have no choice but to go to GE for my prescriptions as UPMC dropped CVS. Rite Aid closed and Walgrens closed. Anyway the drive thru at the Wexfird Market District is insane. The have two lanes but refuse to use both for puck, stating the 2nd line us for drop off paper prescriptions. NO ONE HAND WRITES PRESCRIPTIONS ANYMORE, THEY ARE ALL E-SCRIPTED. GET WITH THE PROGRAM AND MAKE YOUR CISTOMERS HAPPY.
Wanted to thank Lisa at the pharmacy for helping me with a last minute urgent medication request on New Year's Day. She was very patient with me, and got me the meds I needed despite a time crunch. Everyone at the pharmacy was friendly and helpful - despite being busy on a holiday.
Look at the OVERWHELMING number of 1 star reviews!!! Does Giant Eagle not care? I’ve had to use here for years and while the pharmacists themselves are absolutely stellar, the techs are VERY VERY rude and VERY entitled. The techs will lazily go out of their way to make your life harder and worse every time. I feel awful for the pharmacists there. The number of times techs have hung up on me or yelled at me is awful. I have disabilities and things are hard for me as it is. I really wish someone would do something about them.
