Not reviewing the place, reviewing the doctor. Insufferably arrogant, doesn't listen. Maybe the surgeon stereotype. Even if he saved my life in the OR would be pleased to never deal with again.

In my experience Zolnick does the basics from a book that was written at least 20 years ago and nothing more. He hurries through appointments and gives patients short-shrift. He seems to care very little about his patients. He also has a strong resentment for any patient who wants or obtains a second opinion from his. I've tried both him and Simard at this same facility. Perhaps there's a new doctor at this Santa Fe facility who'd be worth your time but I'd suggest a drive to ABQ to see Dr White or Dr Khoo.
My experience has been good. Test results reported in a timely manner, etc.
Impossible to reach this doctor and even hard to reach the Heart Institute itself. Test results for carotid ultrasound weeks late and not yet delivered to me or my primary care physician. I am looking for a new cardiologist
