My last visit was several months ago. My visit was less than friendly to say the least. I felt like the whole reason for the visit was to get me to do a CT Scan which can only be done every 2 years. I opted out. The result was going to be the same. When I started asking questions he was polite enough to answer them initially but as you know with a heart condition, one answer may lead to another question and beyond. Thought the man was wonderful at the beginning. Last visit after, pacemaker, regurgitating valves. After medicine and still not catching my breath on exertion. He told me repeatedly 3 times. That some of my symptoms I was going to have to live with the rest of my symptoms we all in my head. Primary doctor could see that my heart was working harder on 1 side than the other. He thought I might have pulmonary artery hypertension.
We absolutely love Dr Vogel. He listens to your concerns. Does not rush you out the door. Very upbeat. He is the best. Very knowledgeable.
Dr. Vogel is not only a rigorous scientist who helps you cut through all the conflicting information on Google, but a super kind and caring human being who fits the Mercy Hospital culture perfectly. He's the best!
