I have NEVER felt so small requesting help. I consulted with the ProBono association of SC prior to seeking to Retain Mr. McKnight for help fighting a battle with my landlord where I’ve been charged late fees but have Verifiable proof that I was not late. Long story short my mother died the townhome I lived in was sold and I had to love to a new location. All causing abnormal financial strain. I consulted with Mark to see if I was in my legal rights as a tenant. I wrote out a few questions that I wanted legal advice on, provided the lease as well and the SC Residential Landlord and Tenant document. My questions were backuped up with evidence and documentation, I just wanted a simple yes or no. I felt that I did all the work, I needed simple validation. I was dismissed and felt that he just didn't want to take the time to answer me. Very disappointed in the service.
