Mr. Salem was paid to send a cease-and-desist letter, but it came back as undeliverable. He was then paid a retainer to file a complaint for delivery by sheriff. Weeks went by with no updates. Emails received only out-of-office replies. Phone calls went unanswered. When he finally called back, he apologized and promised to have the complaint ready by a certain court date.
