Dr. Harriman was so kind and listened to me and at least made me feel as if he let me tell him what was wrong and what hurt and where it hurt. Some doctors come in with preconceived notions and can not see beyond that. Granted it may be the problem but 1 in an off chance it's not. Please see me as an individual and Dr. Harriman made me feel as if I was an individual.

I came in with extreme knee pain and the fear of having to have a shot in my knee. I told everybody of my fear. It turns out I had to have one. I was terrified. Each person who entered the exam room assured me that it was not going to be that bad. Dr. Harriman came in, did the shot and it was almost painless. His bedside manners and concern for my fear were the best.

Physical touch, in my case, is crucial. my first PT appt had that touch, second was on machines and rounds of cycle, leg exercises, and I did get the touch of the "sonogram" which I had to ask for (but it was another PT) left feeling good. I wish the Pt's would know your problem before they start therapy.
