Dr. Gibbs did a lap band (brand name was "Realise Band") he was very direct in my visits with him. I chose the band thinking it's not as permanent as the gastric bypass. Also, I was hearing horror stories about doctors messing up & cutting out to much of the stomach and causing you to not have any vitamins & nutrients being absorbed. So on my first visit he was not rude but more like he had better things to do than spend time with me.
