Spent most of the visit on his computer. Did not do a thorough exam of my elderly Dad who was admitted to the ER after the visit and found to have three pulmonary emboli and one DVT. He just requested blood work and sent him on his way . Very poor bedside manner,and more interested in getting his computer to work then assessing the patient . Will NEVER see him again.
Dr. Edwards was my physician for over 12 years. He is thorough and a considerate listener. When I first came to him, I was on 7 different medications which included 3 inhalers. He worked to treat the underlying chronic infection, ultimately helping me to get off all but allergy meds. I feel blessed that he was my MD during this difficult period. I have since relocated and wish I could have continued with him.
Dr. Edwards has been my doctor for about 2 years now. I have lived in Baton Rouge for 9 years and finally found my perfect doctor!! He listens and explains every thing in detail. He's very friendly and I've never have a doctor spend more than 5 minutes with me, but he doesn't leave until everything is worked out. Oh and there's no computer in the room! So he's not buried into the computer and not paying attention to you. He pays great attention. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Edwards!
My experience has been excellent. Dr. Edwards is very personable and spends more than the average time with you.
He didn't do a thorough exam of the area in question. Did not ask questions in order to give the right diagnosis. He sent my husband to a specialist that does not treat what the issue is. When his office called to schedule the appointment with the specialist, they told them it was a result of a fracture but that was not the case. I called the specialist before going to confirm they were the right place to go to find out they would not be the right one and they told me who to bring him to.
