Dr. Miller is an incredible surgeon, yet I'm surprised at the reviews. He has not spoken one kind word to me and no compassion whatsoever. He set unrealistic expectations that I did my best to meet. After surgery I was told to start PT the next day. There was no way I could get instant service. I had 4 PT sessions and couldn't get an appt for the rehab gym until Sat. Dr Miller was very kind and direct. He did a great job checking out my knee and provided a clear and concise recommendation for future steps. He also seemed like a great teacher to the two physicians who were shadowing him.
Dr Miller is a wonderful surgeon. If you get to know him like I do you will see that his bedside manner is very nice and super funny. He knows what he is doing! I’ve had 3 surgeries and getting ready for another one and when it comes to UVA doctors he is one of 3 out of the entire hospital I would trust, recommend and respect! His staff is great too. If using Google for address location info, you will be taken to an incorrect address on Massie by the UVA arena. Go to the actual website for the UVA Sports Medicine practice where Dr. Miller practices. Dr. Miller sets the bar for sports related knee injuries. I am so impressed. Glad to have found this surgeon. But the UVA Medicine marketing pro obviously doesn't know how to set location for the practice in Google Maps.
