Kevin Peterson Jr. was killed by police on 10/29/2020, and I am still being haunted by the way Mark Lindquist handled the case. His work was careless, incomplete, and unprofessional — and he was paid more than I was, despite doing far less. When it came to reviewing evidence, he and his consultant dismissed major gaps with comments like, “Oh, I didn’t get that recorded.” That alone tells me everything I need to know about the quality of the investigation.
