Went in looking for a new shaft. I came out with a new shaft, much better chalk, and a lot of new knowledge about how cues function and what would be best for my level. Staff/owners were extremely helpful and friendly. I got plenty of advice on the game. Behind the 8 exceeded my expectations. Just played my first game with the new shaft and I’ve never shot better. Best billiards store in south jersey!
Great selection, super friendly staff
I stopped by Behind the 8 after speaking with Mark at my local pool hall about a bent cue shaft. He mentioned he owned a shop and invited me to come check out the inventory. As a newer pool player, I was honestly overwhelmed at first because they have such a huge selection. Awesome store with loads of inventory! They have something for all tastes and both Donna and Mark are extremely knowledgeable in what they have and can point you in the right direction for your type of play/ budget. Never felt anything other than welcomed and at home when I go to purchase anything or have a question regarding what i already have!!! Extremely helpful and supportive customer service!
I've been playing pool for over 25 years. I have 2 Billiard businesses, and play at a high level. Behind the 8 Billiards Supply is a family owned small business and Mark works extremely hard to network and bring his customers a great product. Mark has a budget for everyone. If Mark doesn't have it, he will find you exactly what you're looking for. I highly recommend anyone in need of anything from a new table to a new cue to check this place out. You will leave happy, I guarantee it.
