I wouldn't even give a 1 star but half to. My first appt w a rhem dr after waiting 7 months numerous appt being reschedule I was able to go today. He came in and asked why I was there. So I explained 2 other dr referred for lupus. She has me do few exercises and said no u do t have lupus. He was very rude had me in tears in first 4 minutes to the point I said I was done w this appt. My husband tried talking to him and he got his laptop and left the room. Dr. Jarek gave my wife her quality of life back. He is a very kind Dr. who does not take short cuts. He does a great job explaining issues and treatments. I think God he has been placed in our lives.
I waited months to get in to see a Rheumatologist after inflammation and joint pain stemming from long Covid. Dr. Jared seemed more annoyed with me having not been diagnosed with RA than he was trying to find out what was going on. I spent 10 minutes in the office for him to tell me to come back if my hands swell up and stay hot for 6 weeks straight. He told me I didn’t have RA and sent me on. If you want to be treat rudely and refuse further testing Mark J. Jarek is the best doctor to go to. If you want answers i recommend to steer away from “Dr.” Jarek. Also if you have a medical history with Mercy he will not try to get the right information and just brush you off. I get the impression that we are not patient and they see us as customers, which is extremely saddening. No more fate in Doctors.
Insulted. Took an adversarial stance and said the labs were wrong. He could not access my labs but brushed me off with come back at your worse. Nice part I had a witness. Was not professional.
