Before meeting Dr. Meissner @ UW, I met and had surgery with 2 other vascular surgeons for stents in my legs. I had a 5 year history with DVT in my left leg, with pain constantly in the last year. My work from my previous surgeons were very incomplete. I was in agony 24/7. I was referred to Dr. Meissner in March of 2021 and had Iliocaval recanalization & stents placed in May of 2021. Dr. Meissner is wonderful. He took time to explain my tests and options. I felt very comfortable at my first appointment which is unusual for me. I highly recommend him. I’ve been to many Dr’s including Mayo Clinic and can confidently say Dr Meissner is at the top of my list. 5 stars +
Dr. Meissner gave me a second chance at life. He diagnosed me with a rare vascular syndrome and took a chance on my unusual case. He is a rare find - a surgeon who is one of the top experts in the world in his field and also takes the time to listen, is humble, and compassionate. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
