I took my dad to see Dr. Katz for a second opinion in the beginning of 2024. He is everything you want in a physician: empathetic, kind, funny, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and just phenomenal overall bedside manner. In a country where healthcare is incredibly complex, where docs should be spending more time treating vs documenting and arguing with insurance companies, Dr. Katz has somehow mastered the art of giving great patient care. 10/10 would recommend.
Dr Katz is THE BEST Doctor, for anything to do with Bladder, Kidneys,, and MUCH More! He did surgery (s) for tumors in my bladder. 2 yrs ago, and has treated me ever since (Saved my bladder). He is SOO patient, understanding, helpful, and VERY VERY Intelligent. You won’t find a better doctor ANYWHERE.
This man removed a 2cm Mass from my right kidney possibly saving my life. My recovery was very quick considering. He probably saved my life as it was found to be Renal Cell Clear Cell Carcinoma Stage Two. Mark is very personable and seems to genuinely care and is a skilled surgeon. Thanks BMC Urology Team. I did have an issue after surgery, with my arm, but it's being resolved hopefully ASAP.
