If Mark engages in questionable billing practices or other unethical behavior, you can submit a complaint to the ARDC (Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Committee). Simply go to their site, use the "ARDC Services" dropdown to select "File a Complaint", and then choose either the online complaint form or downloadable form. Mark Becker was very misleading and over charge and basically did nothing for the money he charged. Don't walk away from him run....

I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Mark Becker to exercise extreme caution. My family had an unfortunate experience with him after he took on my mother’s case, promising a flat fee agreement. We paid him $10,000 up front, but soon after, he began demanding more money, claiming he now wanted to bill hourly. Mr. Becker’s behavior was highly unprofessional throughout.
