He’s very kind and sincere. I really liked him, as a person. However, I had something else major going on and it was completely missed. I was told I had bad posture and needed strength training. I had a screw loose, literally. I needed surgery to get this issue resolved.
Dr. Avart evaluated me for an achilles injury. He totally missed the boat, minimizing the "small tear," telling me to stretch the achilles and wear the boot. I don't know how he missed the serious defect in my ankle, which required major tendon transfer surgery five months after his hasty evaluation. My achilles was never going to function correctly with his recommendations. Sure, he was a nice guy, but a terrible diagnostician.
Dr. Mark Avart is the best, one who is so concerned of his patients well being! He takes time out to listen and explains the situation to the condition that you are faced with! The best office and bedside manner that I have ever experienced from a Dr! I have had two knee surgeries, one is when I tore my meniscus in two places and the second was a knee replacement years later on the same Knee! Now looking forward to him performing knee replacement surgery on the other knee! He desires 10 stars ⭐️!!!!
