Dr. Caveretta: a great bedside manner, no nonsense, get it done surgeon. He communicated well with both myself and my wife in terms I could understand and also explained it in medical jargon for my wife (a nurse of 35 plus years.)
My experience has been great ! Being pregnant and dealing with an occurring cyst due to hormones has been a nightmare but Dr. Cavaretta has helped so much with the draining and recovery process .
I highly recommend Dr Cavaretta if you are in need of hernia surgery. He’s very knowledgeable and not only did he give me options but he also explained them to me to a point where I was at ease prior to the surgery. He and his staff took excellent care of me.

Dr. Cavaretta ignored my medical history in favor of an obvious (to me) desire to avoid proceeding with the surgery that had been out mutual goal following preliminary endoscopy and colonoscopy. Why? Perhaps because he would be leaving his current practice in mid January 2026, and didn't want to risk the possibility of me having complications of surgery on his first available open surgical date of December 5th, thereby complicating the perhaps already presumed hectic time of his move.
