We have been with Mark Besen's office in MHC for 3 years and have had 2 different therapists because they don't seem to stay with Mark Besen's office for long. We had Stephanie then moved onto Rachel Lamb who left back approximately in the beginning of 2025. Since then my 22 year old Son has been on a waiting list for a new therapist and it's now going into April 2026 ! Not sure why they haven't assigned him someone new at the practice (?) I hope I can put into words the glowing recommendation this office deserves. Firstly, Billie at the office has been as kind and helpful as you could possibly hope for when contacting an office during some pretty dark times. Erica has made all the difference in the world, she has given me access to all the tools I had but didn't know how to use yet. I cannot thank her enough. Never met Mark Besen but whoever handles his hiring needs a raise and a pizza party and 2 thumbs up. #therapized

Unfortunately, the testing performed by Dr. Besen (and by the majority of "specialists" in this field) remains error riddled in the cases of HF adult females. If you have a male child with autism, Dr. Besen's testing will prove this, and you can feel confident in his analysis. HOWEVER. If you, like me, are a HF autistic female adult who masks, autism will not register for him. Instead you will receive a misdiagnosis of some sort of personality disorder.
