My experience at this hospital was very disappointing, both good and bad across the spectrum. I'm not targeting everyone. I'm just saying what I've experienced. I saw this doctor's team and the doctor did not accept the suggestions made by the patients, and the service attitude deteriorated because I made different suggestions. There seems to be a sense of revenge. The recommended specialist performed a vocal cord test through a laryngoscope for several minutes without spraying anesthesia. Dr. Davies is wonderful. She is a very qualified doctor and a really nice person. She provides excellent care and listens to her patients. A rare combination.
The care at the Mass Eye and Ear Main Campus was fine. But, the ER waiting time topped 3.5 hours. And, prospective patients were packed into a small waiting area for the duration. At one point, 17 people filled the waiting room- with no effort made (... on the part of the hospital) to create space where folks could socially distance. In the era of COVID, this is a breeding ground for spreading the virus and totally unacceptable.
Dr Vasan is a wonderful kind caring doctor who thoroughly explains your issues, takes his time and is very pleasant. I would trust my eyes with him, he’s very knowledgeable and so happy he has a local office. Thank you Dr Vasan.
