All of the previous reviews are correct, he is awful. He basically ignored me as a person. He didn't even ask any questions about my symptoms, he talked at me instead of with me and it was all about him and how much he knows, while he stared out the window and fidgeted with other things in the room. When I asked questions, he was very dismissive. He refused to change my med, even though it wasn't working. Added in Emgality (which is not the wonder drug he stated) because he's apparently more interested in the kickbacks then ... read more
Avoid at all cost, because the cost could be your life! To say he is biased and opinionated is an understatement. Don't talk about other symptoms you experience, because he claims to only do brains. I'm pretty sure you have to at least listen to what people have to say before you insult, berate, and belittle people honestly seeking medical help. The other reviews are correct — Mark Mandelbaum was incredibly rude and dismissive. It was clear he’d decided I didn’t need to be there before he even walked into the room or had any kind of conversation with me. He did not listen, he did not take me seriously, and every time I tried to talk to him about what I’m experiencing he acted annoyed and impatient. He was the rudest Dr I've ever been to!
From the moment he walked in, he's cold, heartless. I couldn't even finish the appointment, I took the time to write down thorough information for him which he failed to bring into the room after I had handed them to the nurse, only to ask me all the same questions and question all my answers as if I was an idiot. I've lived with migraines for 31 years, not my first rodeo. I left before we could even finish, what a complete waste of time. I'm not sure he's human. And I remain in pain....
