Dr Haimes is an excellent physician with a superb bedside manner. He explained my diagnosis and treatment plan to me in great detail and made sure I was comfortable with the plan and referral to another surgeon during my visit. I would recommend him to everyone, and although I hope to never need orthopedic surgery again, if I do he will be the doctor I call!
I (Vince) fully recommend Dr. Haimes for total hip replacement surgery. It has now been 1 year since my surgery by Dr. Haimes, and the whole experience was exceptional. I was having knee lower leg pain for 3-4 years, walked with a very noticeable limp, and went to Dr. Haimes, who determined my hip was bone-on-bone. The entire surgical team at UVM Medical Center was awesome, the surgery went smoothly, I was back home the same day, and walking upstairs with a cane the same night as my surgery - and no pain meds needed.
