I was under Dr. Brown’s care the first time for 18 months and the second time for 6 months. I will give him credit for being a brilliant physician, however he is one of the most arrogant, condescending, rude Dr.’s I have ever been treated by. He does know his chosen profession of Infectious Diseases, but lacks in compassion, and doesn’t know how or chooses not to consider his patient’s fear who are already dealing with serious diseases. The other physicians in this group are the opposite of Dr. Brown!
The treatment I received from the doctors in this practice did nothing to abate my symptoms from Lyme disease. When I recently asked them to order a new, advanced test to discern whether there was the DNA of this tick born disease still in my system, they refused to order it for me even though I planned to pay for it myself. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Brown to followup on unusual results of blood tests that had been ordered by my primary care physician. I was twice advised that someone would call me to schedule an appointment. No one ever called. Furthermore, when I called his office I found they had simply put me off and had no intention of ever calling me back, either to make an appointment or to tell me they did not think Dr. Brown could help me with what had been found in my blood tests. Structurally incompetent administratively. Absurdly unprofessional wait times. Staff is unknowledgable about anything relative when it comes to importance.
I saw a Dr Brown today.He was very knowledgeable and kind. He gave me confidence and made me feel better about myself.
