I’d give 0 stars if I could. This doctor has no empathy and does not care about patients. She is rude and dismissive and should have chosen another profession. I’m so glad I didn’t stick around after she told me my miscarriages weren’t real babies. She shouldn’t work in this field anymore.
Dr. Attaran almost killed me, and trust me, she couldn't care less. She was always condescending and dismissive. And if she treats doctors like me this way, can you imagine how she treats the general population? She kept attributing my symptoms to anxiety, and when serious conditions including Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome were diagnosed soon after, she showed zero remorse for her actions. I should have switched to a different doctor sooner. Marjan has no empathy and horrible bed side manner. I tried to actually stick it out with her because I knew she had a lot of experience but eventually switched to a doctor who wasn’t as cold as ice.
Completely invalidated my medical needs and told me “periods are supposed to hurt.” Years later I just had a hysterectomy to remove endometriosis and adenomyosis. I regret ever having seen her. Endured years of pain thinking I was overreacting just to find out there was a medical problem the entire time.
The office staff there has HORRIBLE communication skills. I have been given the run around for each appointment I was scheduled for. They do not follow up with you. I felt Dr. Attaran did not want to take my case for IVF. Every time I saw her she never looked pleasant to see me.
