I had a deeply disturbing experience as a new patient with a primary care doctor at Kaiser. I was asked to explain my medical diagnosis, and despite doing my best to clarify and explain that I’ve already attempted to get my records, the doctor was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. When I tried to leave the appointment, the doctor physically blocked me from exiting and hit the security button, which led to several staff rushing in. Dr.Maritza Alvarado is amazing. She always takes the time to listen and really does care to find the root cause of an ailment. I had a bad reaction to immunotherapy which caused inflammation in my joints. I couldn’t stand let alone with feeling excruciating pain. Dr. Alvarado was able to pin point root. And I’m back hiking, biking and weight lifting without pain!! Thanks Dr.Alvarado !!!
