My wife and I bought a recently renovated home in Rockland, however the oil heating system was nearing the end of its life and after doing a great deal of research, including extensive conversations with Aaron Ecker, Energy Advisor at Maritime Energy, decided to do an entire system replacement, converting to propane gas, using a Lochinvar system, from oil. If I could give it a 0 star, I would. They screwed me over several times. First, I went to the office at the beginning of summer hoping to cap an oil price for the winter season. I was put on the waitlist hoping to get a call at some point just to find out last week that they won't cap me for the season. I'm not very happy with this so I ended up capping my oil price somewhere else. Considering that I've been a customer there for over 10 years, you would think that would count for something. Aaron Ecker did a great job of reviewing our property, providing knowledgeable information, and customer service during some delays we had to pause for in our project. The service team of Scott and Jason was fantastic. Even Matt got in the game. Their professionalism, knowledge of product, timing of work to install 5 heat pumps was perfect; especially working with our Bed and Breakfast and guests stays. Intelligence, skill and expertise : a great combination!
I have been using Maritime for many years and always get a great customer service. 2/5/26 update: Yesterday, we had some propane smell and our tanks were below 10 lbs. I called at 7:30 pm to see if we could get filled up in the morning. Nick called a supervisor who said we're coming now. The driver was prompt and very professional. Thank you Maritime for making sure we didn't run out of propane.
