Marita’s is a local legend- one of the best! The owners run the business perfectly, everything is VERY clean and organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the ice cream (especially the homemade flavors) are phenomenal! Pro tip: my favorite homemade flavor is Almond Joy. It can definitely get busy at night, but the staff works through the line quickly and efficiently. Marita's is without question the best ice cream in Sea Isle City. The uniqueness and variety of their flavors along with the quality of all they serve is second to none. They hire great staff, too. The employees are clearly well trained and work hard I have found that they always take orders and deliver service quickly, kindly, and with a smile. The local owners clearly care about what they sell and who represents them at the windows. If you visit Sea Isle Marita's is a "must stop" for ice cream!
Rude employees yelled at family for parking in front of business and said it was illegal. No posting/sign, ordinance or law in state says it is. Have parked there many times over the years and got ice cream after going to the beach. Not anymore.

Unfortunately the great ice cream here is served by disrespectful, rude staff who ruin the experience. After a previous negative encounter with a rude staff member, we decided to give them a second chance, as a small business who might’ve had an off day.
