Unfortunately we only saw Dr. Rubio once. I just changed my moms PCP to her, because last 2 PCP's I did not care for. They either did not listen, the first 1 never examined my mom in 2 years, but because she saw Oncologist everyv3-4 months I did not worry about it. Once she past 5 years cancer free I changed to the one prior to Dr. Rubio. He did not listen, and pushed patients off to the nurse practioner or PA in his office. I've never seen Dr Rubio, but I have seen Ashley Eischeid. I do not appreciate her 'know it all' attitude or "I'm better than other doctors' attitude.
Dr. Rubio is very caring, reviewed all my records then recommends what's best for my health. One of the best dr I've met. Now I am wondering where I can find a dr like her.
Ended up with Dr. Rubio after Dr. Arian retired and saw her a few times, but when she abruptly moved her office from Kearney Mesa to Grossmont without prior notice, I had to leave her and go with a PCP closer to my home. She nor her office would not provide me with a referral so I had to find another PCP on my own. I felt abandoned. Good clinician, but can't recommend her based on the above.
Doctor rubio was very caring and Paid attention to every detail. I really liked her and I would recommend her for a primary doctor.
