Booked with Marissa a month in advance, even extended my out-of-state trip at an extra cost. She knew this, yet abruptly cancelled on Friday, when my appointment was the upcoming Wednesday. The decision to quit her job is understandable; life changes happen. However, I believe it would have been more professional to give me an earlier notice, which would have allowed me to make alternative arrangements. The lack of consideration was unprofessional.

I had an appointment with Marissa and she cancelled on me 4 days before my appt while I was in the airport. I don’t live in California, and was flying into town for a family matter, and extended my trip and paid extra flight expenses specifically to book this appointment. She knew I was flying in, and don’t live in California. She didn’t even offer to see if another stylist at the salon could fit me in. I’m very understanding, however this was just unprofessional.
