I loved working with Marissa! I struggled with an eating disorder for 7 years. Working with her has helped me shift my mindset away from the diet mentality, when I did not think it was possible. Now I am able to peacefully eat food that I want without feeling guilty. She helped me find piece with my body and learn how to enjoy exercise and movement without feeling like its a punishment. I learned more about myself and gained confidence i didn't know i had. I am very thankful for Marissa and would definitely recommend her!
In short, Marissa is absolutely incredible. Before seeing her, I had spent about two years in recovery from anorexia. I had seen several other practitioners, all of which prescribed diets and other very un-helpful practices in the name of "recovery."
