Since Mariposa designed and installed our garden in 2019, we have seen nature return. I never tire from sitting outside watching five different kinds of bees, butterflies, and all of the new plant life flourish. Who knew my formerly dead, hard-packed lifeless yard could be so entertaining. Even our dog enjoys exploring its endlessly changing colors and shapes throughout the seasons.
We consulted with Gina to redesign our front and backyard in November 2023 and finalized our plans by the end of that year. Gina was such a pleasure to work with! She provided us with three initial concept designs, then worked with us to incorporate our favorite features and fit things closer to our budget. We’ve been enjoying the garden for about five months now, and love to see the plants fill in and new wildflowers bloom! Lots of compliments from our neighbors. Overall enjoying the space and utilizing it more than before!
We had a wonderful experience with Mariposa! Very good at working through what we wanted (unusual plants, different areas of the yard with different heights), and we’re so excited to see how it grows in. We especially love the rock garden and how quickly it came together!!
Mariposa Gardening gave me 3 different designs for all 4 sides of my yard. They just completed the first side. I am satisfied with the results. Their people are hardworking and enthusiastic. I am especially pleased with their commitment to environmentally and ecologically responsible gardening.
Mariposa knows how to design and create a beautiful patio and garden area. We absolutely love ours with its lush, native plants, lovely stone work, and awesome fire pit. Mariposa’s design also helped solve our drainage problems, which were very difficult to deal with when we were getting heavy rain. Now, the water is all directed away from our house and we will rest easy at the next storm.
