Italian? No. More like an old VFW Found Mario's online, and was expecting an upscale Italian restaurant. Well, the prices were certainly high enough...but the food was AWFUL. I ordered a T-bone with pasta, expecting some kind of Italian pasta sauce and peppers/onions, etc. What I got was an unseasoned, undercooked slab of meat (almost 1/2 fat and gristle) on a broken metal tray with a bowl of cold, overcooked spaghetti with red sauce that tasted just like Spaghetti-O's. Delish! LOVE this one! The pansaratti is excellent! This place is totally old school - hasn't been renovated in decades but it is one of those places that you always know you will get a fantastic meal! Can't go wrong with any of the pasta dishes. Good wine selection. Only downfall - the lights are bright for dinner time AND the tables are very close together. They really pack you in there so be prepared for that. Otherwise - you will walk out stuffed and probably still have leftovers!
