First time here and wasn't sure what to expect, but this place was on point! The shrimp ceviche with the fresh tostadas was shockingly fantastic...like, if I closed me eyes it tastes like I was back in Florida. Then the waitress came out with two plates of chilaquieles for another table and I KNEW that was exactly what I was having. We decided to try Mario’s for the first time today for breakfast and it was a 10/10. Out of all the commercialized businesses in Ofallon, we needed this family owned authentic restaurant. It was SO delicious… the owner was out talking to each family, making sure everyone was taken care of. We will be here, and often. :)
Absolutely fantastic little gem! They’re open from 7 AM–3 PM, and the Quesabirria tacos were incredible — packed with flavor and definitely worth trying. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. And who doesn’t love margaritas and tacos for breakfast?! Highly recommend!
