Read this before buying from Mario and Son, and note that positive reviews are from customers who haven't had problems with their stone cracking. My wife and I bought a Pental kitchen island + range countertop from Mario and Son. Everything was fine until a few years later when the countertop cracked on an inside corner of the sink cutout. This isn't a defect that can happen from standing on the stone, or from temperature abuse. Mario agreed to replace the countertop.
