Mario's Restaurant We have friends who dine out only at Mario's! Anyway, we have joined them a few times to see what they were talking about. The bread was great..the salad was good. My husband loved what he had ( I think it was some kind of steak), and I- the vegetarian -had my usual pasta & broccoli with garlic & oil. My dish was fair. The service was excellent. But honesly, I don't see what all the fuss was about.
Okay We thought Marios was okay. It had been recommended to us by friends who love it and go there all the time. We thought it was good, but definitely not great. The food varied, some items were excellent and some were lacking.
Lunch at Marios's - Review A very high profile wall street client and myself had lunch in this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was one of the worst I ever experienced (waiter's name: Idel. The atmosphere was for 65+ yrs old. The food was overall good but immersed in butter. The shrimp scampi and the pasta's I would recommend but the chicken dishes I would not. They tasted as if they were dumped in a pre cooked sauce and cooked at the time of order.
