Very unpleasant overnight stay. Avoid if you can.
Last week my father-in-law was taken by ambulance to the ER in the morning on Monday. By afternoon he was in ICU with weak vitals and very low hemoglobin. After several transfusions they raised his hemoglobin levels just enough to perform an endoscopy. They determined he had multiple ulcers with one being severe…and that’s about where the flow of information stopped. We have come to this hospital for years and for varying reasons. We are always treated with respect. I also had my baby here and I felt like a princess with how well they treated me and my family. I also really enjoyed the food! It caught me off guard how delicious it was. I recommend this hospital. They have so much to offer and do a lot of good for the community
Don't eat at the café in the green tower in the new multi million dollar addition to the hospital. I just crunched into some rocks or gravel or sand in something I bought from there yesterday and brought home to eat today. I think I just chipped or broke a tooth into bc I chewed down on this item hard thinking it would be debris free. I threw the 8 dollar item away bc a family member just said they probably dropped it on the floor and put it back in the box. You never know. Ill never eat at this café again.
My son was a patient in ICU for several weeks. He was treated with with professionalism, empathy, and a caring staff. The hospital had undergone some renovations and was nicely done and very clean. Very accommodating to family members. Unfortunately, my son passed away, even though they had given him the best medical attention available. The nursing staff in ICU was outstanding, as well as the Chaplains on site.
