Best 60 dollar facial in town! I love MB for a classic facial. I see Cathy about once a month and this is truly the best cheap facial in the city. You obviously aren’t going to get a 200 dollar spa experience for 60 dollars. It what you do get is squeaky clean skin, an hour of relaxation, and flawless pores!
I came here for a spa package my bf brought me, it included a facial, mani-pedi, and a body scrub...i don't know why but they scheduled my body scrub AFTER my mani/pedi, i thought that was weird but i figure this is an established spa, they would know better than me...NOT! I've been getting facials here for few years and I only schedule my appointments with CORINA. She has the perfect touch, very knowledgeable and she is not pushy. I have sensitive skin and she always does such a good facial that I never leave red or puffy. She is all the time very busy with her clients, so you must book your facial well in advance. Believe me, once you try her you will never go to anybody else!
After my aesthetician for many years, Christy, left the company, I was desperate for whom to try. The front desk recommended Katerina and Biata as the best facialists and I was stupid enough to believe them. What a disappointment, both were below any expectations, and after I did a research I found out that they were employed very recent by the company, and believe me, they don't know what they are doing. If you want a good facial ask to see other persons that have worked for many years and never believe the front desk.
Best eyebrow sculpting and facial – I have been going to Mario Badescu for years, and I love it there. FANITA is my go to lady, and not only does she give you an amazing facial, but she also really knows everything about your skins need, AND she the most amazing eyebrow sculptor in the world !! Actually, she is the ONLY ONE allowed anywhere near mine, and I highly recommend her !!!!
Save your time and money. The person who did my facial spent only 5 minutes actually doing extractions. The massage was only 2 minutes. And the products were not any different than what I could have bought over the counter. They seen't worth the 100 dollars at all. I highly suggest you don't waste your time...
Great Products, AWFUL Spa – I love Mario Badescu products. (The drying mask is a life saver!) I got my sister hooked on the products as well, so when we went to NYC to celebrate her birthday (12/10) we made appointments at the Mario Badescu Spa. Great Facial – Unlike most New York spas, Mario Badescu Skin Care is an un-intimidating low-key place to get great services and beautiful products without spending your whole paycheck. While I've only ever gotten facials/add-ons and no massages, manis, etc. I have loved them. I started going before my wedding and just keep going back. It's my treat to myself and an easy gift card go-to for my husband at birthdays and holidays :)
The Worst Facial Ever – I have gotten dozens of facials in my life and never have I experienced something so terrible. The reviews below are 100% correct. The place is outdated and the rooms do not feel relaxing, calm, zen, anything of the sort. There were people talking in the hallways, and in other treatment rooms and because there were only sliding doors, you could hear everything that was going on.
