Avoid this clinic. Shockingly unprofessional clinician. Fraudulent billing practices (at least that is what I can tell from lack of responsiveness to my questions about double billing. They took 6 months to “review” and then no communication or explanation). My insurance company confirmed that they see this from clinics sometimes. Can only be described as predatory billing practices. I would love to be proven otherwise so I can amend this review, but after 6 months of trying to get an answer…all I can do is warn others.
I have really liked coming here as my primary care. They've taken good care of me overall. Dr. Gurkamal Hans is wonderful.
Awful Service 1. Made an appt for a physical. Was told to go downstairs to Quest Diagnostics and that no paperwork was needed. Go down to Quest Diagnostics (three weeks later) sign in an wait. Twenty minutes later the receptionist tells me they have no paperwork for me. 2. Go up stairs to North Bay Internal Medicine Novato and the same women who made the appt for me and told me to go to Quest tells me there is no paperwork for blood work. 3. Administratively the turnover from Dr. Murphy's office to this group is terrible. Requested callbacks are non-existent. Serious errors in pharmaceutical requests to providers have occurred without rapid resolution. This group, now affiliated with UCSF badly needs help.
