Horrible!!! I don't know what hotel these other people were talking about, but it sure wasn't the mariner in seaside. I was there 2 days ago with my kids, and it was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. The entire room smelled like urine and poop. We left to go shopping as soon as we got there and thought maybe if we opened the windows it would be better. When we got back it had gotten warmer and the smell was worse. Good place! I have stayed here a couple times while visiting Seaside and they lodging was great. It is a short drive to the beach and they allow pets with a deposit. The rooms could use some updating but they are good none the less!
Mariner Motel We have stayed a couple of times recently at the Mariner Motel and we really enjoy the great rates and the way the Manager's make us feel at home we will be sure to come back to the Mariner for years to come. The Manager's Katrina and Doug were very helpful and friendly. They always had great reccommendations for food and things to do locally. I reccommend people stay at the Mariner.
Quite Reasonable We have used the Mariner Motel many, many times because it is clean and reasonably priced. When we go to the beach there is enough to spend your money on without spending it all on the motel. The Mariner has a nice swimming pool and the desk staff are delightful. It is close enough to walk to the boardwalk and far enough away that you don't hear the noise of downtown. It's a great motel.
