We have owned a Harris tri toon for about eight years and have enjoyed the boat and have had good service from Marine Max. The boat was purchased from Marine Max, Lake of the Ozarks. Recently, we have had major problems. First of all, two of the three pontoons now leak water and will need to be replaced. I have been told that this could be done under warranty, but have heard no more from the dealership nor from Harris boats. I had an extremely disappointing experience with MarineMax Grand Lake. After purchasing my boat, it broke down almost immediately after I put it in the water(less than 2 hours of run time I had to add a gallon of oil). A major purchase like this should be thoroughly inspected(which I was told it had a 160 point inspection done, it had a compression test done and that their mechanics had test drove the boat) and it was ready for use, but that was not my experience. Sales agent Joel Hauk was so warm and friendly from our first meeting. He gave us time and attention and much information on boats available, various options, etc. He kept in touch with new information through several weeks of talking.
