Marinelli's Restaurant is the WORST I think it is filthy, food is poor, service is worse. Management is a joke and not very pleasant. Bathrooms are horrible, can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is.
Marinellis of Troy I completely disagree with the other reviewer. Although I agree that they need a better smoke filtration system, the staff and the food are great. It is a cozy, friendly local hang-out and a great place to stop in after work or for lunch. They have a wide variety of menu items, prices are very reasonable. Their chicken Casar salad is the best around!
Okay, but too smoky ... Service here is okay. The food is not that great. Smoking seems to be allowed all over this restaurant so it is very hard to breath, let alone eat. Okay for lunch, but I would not come at dinner time.
Disappointing Main Dishes – The food was disappointing. The chicken in our pasta dish was overcooked, tough, and chewy. It ruined an otherwise acceptable dish. The chicken and vegetables in the "stir fry" dish we ordered appeared and tasted boiled rather than stir fried. The dish was also bland. We brought home the leftovers, but we didn't look forward to eating them later.
service with a smile and great eats too – I LOVE Marinellis. It has the atmosphere almost of Cheers. Everybody knows everybody by name and you feel a part of the family. The food is outstanding and it is also a great family restaurant. There are tons of TVs for the sports buffs too. The bartender, Cyndie always gives you service with a smile. I don't know which Marinelli's I like best. I guess I like them both for different reasons. Try it out and you will love it too.
Best Pizza! – I love pizza and for the last 20 years Marinelli's has been my favorite! My kids now validate this too...its always the place they want to go for pizza and ribs too! The resturant is clean and the staff are seasoned help who know how to do their jobs. Try it, you won't be dissappointed.
Great Pizza! Unique. – A family-friendly restaurant offering tasty pizza and a short menu of traditional pasta dishes. They'll pour a honest drink for Mom & Dad, and keep the kids in cola for the duration of your meal. Their lunch buffet is a favorite of mine. Pizza, soup and salad offered in multiple trips, for less than $8.00. Dinner can wait!
