Can't recommend this company. I recently purchased a used boat and the surveyor pointed out some concerns with galvanic corrosion and suggested we have some experts do a detailed corrosion survey. I contacted MTS to set it up. Weeks went by with no contact. Then randomly one day they showed up to the boat unannounced while we were there. They spent about an hour doing a few things then left. Adam did a bunch of work on my boat including solar installation, fan installation, and fixed some issues found on the survey amongst other things. He also installed all of the navigation electronics for the previous owners who also raved about his work. I would highly recommend going with MTS for any technical services you require.

Review for MTS Marine Technical Services I recently had MTS follow up on our VHF radio and AIS installation.the certified technician, was outstanding—professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He quickly verified that our GPS data was functioning correctly and clarified how the Raymarine and Instrument breakers interact with the VHF’s position data. Our trawler had 20 year old electronics and a non-functioning autopilot. Came across Toby at the Annapolis Boat Show last October and he spent lots of time answering questions and explaining various options/brands. We kept in touch by e-mail and phone negotiating what our trawler needed. Got the final estimate and the job scheduled. Install came in at budget and on time- a first for us! VERY pleased with their work; highly recommend MTS. They've worked on five different projects for me (1990 Grand Banks) and I've been completely satisfied. In one case, other marine electricians were recommending a very cumbersome, $15,000 solution to band-aid a problem, while MTS found the actual source of the problem and fixed it for about $1,500.
