If you’ve got Doug’s mind on your boat, count yourself lucky. This man is a low-key mechanical genius with a true passion for boats and the water. He and his partner got the rig on my Nordic 40 sailboat into the best condition since it came off the production line. New vang, traveler, running rig, backstay, and more. Doug’s expertise, responsive communication, and timely execution was top-notch. Extremely fastidious work, but also practical recommendations. A lot of stress off my chest so I can just enjoy the boat.

Vang Master, Little Air Giant & Marine Products Engineering Co are all the same company run by Doug Grant. I believe this company is a one man show. I bought a Melges 24 sailboat used that had one of his Vangmaster vangs on it. The vang was broken so I bought a repair kit for $300 which contained less than $10 worth of parts and a sheet of paper with instructions on it.
