Derrick and Remey were very prompt in their response to my call. That is hard to find these days when needing service. Derrick suggested a new fuel lift pump for my diesel engine and gave me an estimate. He then showed me how to install it to save me money. They were friendly and upbeat at all times.
When I ran into Remy and his father Derek, one of the first things I told them was that I had stage 4 gastric cancer and that i'm terminal. They both held back tears and dug deep to help me get my piece of junk on the road....(1997 Sea Ray ) It turns out to be a nice boat...thanks to these guys You wont find anyone better, especially when it comes to all around customer service, knowledge, craftmanship, and the desire to get the job done. I have a 1993 Chaparral 2050 bought new at Hartman and Lapp that never ran like it should have. It would cough, spit, sputter and shut off. The boat only has 197 actual running hours on it. Called Marine Plus, they found the problem the motor had the wrong carburetor from new. The intake was for a Carter, but had a Weber carburetor installed from new. They made the changes to make run like it should.I would highly recommend this shop for your needs. I am very pleased with the Performance. Thank you guys.
I was having an issue with water getting into my engine cylinders. I stopped In the other day and asked remy for some advice . I am very good with engines but not real familiar with marine cooling systems. After stopping in 2 times remy helped me figure out the issue . It turns out that the exhaust flap valves that keep water from back feeding are shot. Remy took a Quick Look at my exhaust manifolds and risers which I was leaning toward replacing and told me they didn’t need replaced and I should have a few more years left o... read more
