Mark & Bill do great work and are good people to deal with. Mark is a great mechanic and actually repairs engines. He repairs a lot of things that other shops might not do and is a great mechanic 2 or 4 stroke. Yamaha/Suzuki/Honda/Merc Other services are available on site as well.
Mark did my engine work for years when I had two-stroke motors. I recently had him look at my Yamaha 150 four stroke that was running rough. Turned out I got my wires crossed during a routine spark plug change-out. I must say Mark could have come up with any number of issues to explain my rough running motor and charged me whatever he wanted but he just suggested I get my wife to supervise my work in the future. Honesty speaks volumes. Thanks, Mark
Mark was very helpful in repairing my boat he was very thoughtful and knew exactly what to do I highly recommend this place for anybody that needs their boat worked on . Jackson Adams
Mark at Marine Mechanics was the sixth mechanic I took my boat to. All other mechanics said my motor was junk and that I should buy a new one. They would then charge me hundreds of dollars even though my motor was still not running. Mark at Marine Mechanics diagnosed my motor problems in minutes. For a very reasonable amount of money Mark had my motor running like new! Do yourself a favor, Don't waste your time and money anywhere else! Take your boat to the courteous professionals at Marine Mechanics!
Mark and his team are fantastic. I brought my boat in for a shifting problem expecting a costly lower unit problem. Mark found a linkage problem that was repaired in record time at a very reasonable cost. The boat now shifts better that ever. It is great when you find a business that is both very knowledgeable and trustworthy. They have earned both my respect and future repair needs. Gary P.
I brought my boat down for vacation from Reading, PA and ran into an ignition problem on day one. Much of our vacation hinged on the use of our Yamaha boat. The efforts and the expertise by Mark and his colleagues to get us back on the water safely were unparalleled and I can say without reservation that our problem was dealt with professionally and with the utmost of urgency. Due to this service, I couldn’t leave the place without paying 30% more than what the bill was out of my gratitude for a job well done! It’s nice to k... read more
The guys mean well, but they are less than great mechanics. DInk is a nice man and means well. Mark is the problem at this shop. He is arrogant, rude, lacks any form of customer service and has no concept of time. FOr starters, they dont use any form of technology. A paper note pad logs information and customer info. Plan on missing a fishing season or two, because theyll keep your boat for 8-12 months...and it still wont run right!!! They would be my LAST option. Do yourself a favor, pay the extra $ and take your business e... read more
Mark is a great guy and very helpful and professional. I have rented storage here for a long time and it is the cheapest in town, period.
Excellent, Excellent says it all. They truly care about the customer and provide great service and repairs.
