I’m not big on writing reviews, but I have to report that MDI had the best prices, a really easy on line ordering website and they gave me a tracking number 45 minutes after I placed my order! That excellent service rivals Amazon. They didn’t gouge me on the cost of shipping either. They are my new go to Yanmar Diesel parts supplier.
Tony and his team are great. My wife and I were making our annual pilgrimage from Maine to Florida and running outside on a nice flat day when just 20 miles outside of Charleston the thermostat on one of my CAT C-12s suddenly jumped to over 200 degrees. Our boat experienced an oil pressure sensor failure 24 miles NE of Charleston, SC on the ICW. We were referred to Tony and his crew from Toler's Cove Marina (Kevin Austin). We got in touch with Tony and he talked me through some basic tests and also how to ensure the transmission/prop shaft was secured. After we were towed in (Tow Boat US - Bob), Tony assured me he had the part and would replace the sensor the following morning.
